FERODO Racing Extends Akkodis ASP Partnership to Include Le Mans and GT World Challenge Europe

For FERODO Racing, innovation drives victory. And with every racing win, the organization extends the influence of the FERODO brand among racing teams, automotive workshop professionals and vehicle owners worldwide.

At the center of this successful strategy is the brand’s partnership with leading teams in multiple forms of competition. One impressive example is the relationship with the renowned Akkodis ASP team, which FERODO has served as a technical partner since 2020. In 2024, this partnership will cover the World Challenge Europe Gt4 (Toyota Supra), the GT2 Championship (Mercedes AMG), and will also be extended to another high-visibility racing series, the FIA World Endurance Championship, with the Akkodis ASP team’s FERODO-equipped #78 and #87 Lexus RC F cars competing in the prestigious LMGT3 category. Speaking of prestige, rising to this exciting new series will result in FERODO technologies racing at several of the world’s most iconic events, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“Our success in the GT3 category has not only enabled us to increase the presence of the FERODO brand but also continue to optimize the performance of our products,” said FERODO RACING General Manager Sergio Bonfanti. “We look forward to an exciting first year in WEC competition as part of this impressive team.”

The Akkodis ASP team, which will celebrate its 25 anniversary in 2024, is going all-in to achieve immediate success in WEC. Team owner Jérôme Policand already has signed two of the most successful young GT drivers: José María López, two-time FIA World Champion and twice a winner at Le Mans; and Kelvin Van der Linde, two-time ADAC GT Masters Champion and repeat winner of 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

The eight-round WEC season begins March 2 in Qatar and concludes November 2 in Bahrain. Round 4 – the 24 Hours at Le Mans – will take place June 15-16.
